Wednesday Night Ministry

11And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— 16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love. Ephesians 4:11-16 (NKJV)

Mint Hill Baptist Church is a Gospel-centered community of believers, who love God, and strive to equip the church for discipleship.

We are striving to get a baseline of programs going in order to grow our discipleship program. During this phase of the church’s development, we have solidified our sense of purpose, and the mission of the church. We have made strides to continue to increase our impact on the community around us. This measure is preparing us for the growth and outreach to come.

In addition, our Wednesday evening activities provides ongoing training classes set up to establish a sound Biblical knowledge and foundation in all members, for their personal edification, to aid in spreading the word to others, and to appeal to various age groups. Parents and grandparents are being equipped to disciple their children and grandchildren, children are being grounded in basic Bible knowledge, and all are given a thorough understanding of why we believe what we believe.

The beauty of our church’s ministry is that rather than depending on a small group to drive the disciple-making process, each and every member is involved, at one stage or another. Although we may be involved in differing ministries (as God has called us), we all now have a common goal: growing in discipleship, and through the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, enabling others to become His disciples.

The Wednesday Evening activities which promote our strides in the arena of discipleship include Family Dining Fellowship, Bible Study group(s), Youth Bible Study, Choir Practice, Children and Toddler’s Bible Study and Activities.
